Even if you have spent some time fishing at a lake, river or fishery with some basic bait and tackle, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about lure fishing.

All equipment is provided
If you are worried about booking a fishing trip because you don’t have your own rod and line, then fear not. When you book a sea fishing adventure with us, you can rest assured that all equipment is provided, included in the cost of your trip. Simply turn up to Brighton Marina in warm layers – remember, it can be much cooler out at sea! If you’re unsure what to wear, just send us a message and we will be happy to help you.
We would advise that you bring your own sunscreen to keep your skin protected from the sun. Feel free to bring your own snacks or drinks, but remember, we don’t have a toilet onboard.
Remember, even if you do own some of your own equipment, we know what you need to catch each species we are targeting, and we will ensure you have everything you need. Don’t delay!

All species are different, so we can help you make the right moves to increase your chances of a successful catch.
We know the south coast waters well and can help you to find fish, including finding certain species. As well as knowing where to venture depending on weather conditions, time of day and time of year, we also know where not to venture.
If you are worried about fishing regulations, then you need not fear. We know which fish are suitable to catch and keep legally, and which must be returned safely to the sea.
A variety of different adventures available
At Brighton Lure Boat, we are pleased to offer a range of different fishing experiences, so even if you have fished with us before, there’s always something new to try. We can offer a range of trips, including day trips, twilight trips in the warmer months, and wreck or windfarm trips.
Starting on the 17th May, we are also offering catch n cook experiences, where you will have the chance to spend half a day at sea with us, and then take what you catch back to the expert chefs at The Watershed restaurant and bar at Brighton Marina. There you will learn how to prepare and cook your catch, before enjoying the results of your day’s work!
