Sunday 12th July
The second trip out this weekend, Saturday very emotional and proud and honoured to carry Kevin Messer ashes to his favourite fishing spot accompanied by his wife and youngest daughter Holly, along with Likely Lythe taking his other daughter Isabel and family, well attended by 10 boats from HDSA, and massive gathering on the beach, we said our farewells to fantastic fisherman and guy. RIP Kev.

On to Sunday and young James booked a 3-hour taster session, his smile on the photo says it all about the experience he had with us, we were met with boats from all angels heading our the marina, so first stop was small wreck offshore which produced a couple of schoolies, the first for James.
We headed back inshore hoping to catch the rising tide only to be met with weed clumps. As time was running out suggested we try a couple of other close inshore areas, which produced a couple more schools and wrasse. All in all with the weekender boating/floating fraternity taking over the sea waves, not bad a count up 4 fun time schoolies and 1 wrasse.
He thanked Brighton Lure Boat after the event and told me about his last water experience which totally shocked me, he’s booking again soon and will ask him if we can let the world know about his last experience with seawater.
